Fire Safety

On Tuesday we went to the local fire station for our preschool fieldtrip. We have been learning about fire safety the last couple of weeks. It is amazing all the things that we have been able to talk to Anna about and she stays calm, listens and remembers everything we say. Even though you hope your family will never have to go through anything like that, it is good to see them listening and learning what to do.

Anna volunteered to help the fireman test their blood pressure machines to see if they were getting accurate readings. She said it was like her arm was getting a really tight hug.

Here is the whole bunch of them. They went on a tour of the inside of the ambulance and the fire truck. The fire pole was their favorite part. The firemen went down the pole 3 times for them! Slow, fast, and even faster! The kids loved it! Any fireman who can entertain and actively engage this bunch of kids for over an hour deserves a big hand.
